What’s the Story About?
Sugar and Jaxson’s job is very important. They protect the farm animals from danger. A bobcat has been spotted a few miles away so they are on alert. Then Sugar gets a whiff of something. Is it the bobcat? She goes to investigate while Jaxson stays at the farm.
As she approaches the fence, there stands the most unusual creature she’s ever seen. It’s not the bobcat but what is it.
It’s a llama and she says she’s a livestock guardian. Sugar finds this funny and can’t wait to tell Jaxson.
Sugar and Jaxson could use the extra help watching over the farm animals but is Lola a true guardian? Will she protect the farm animals when danger arises?
The book is 31 pages long and around 500 words.
